Course & Range Update

The driving range will be officially opened when the Public Health Order (PHO) allows us to open the hospitality operation and play in groups of four (4).

It will unofficially open in the coming weeks with the the ball vending machine and ball washer the final items to be installed.

Netting will be put up on the western side as the Fernleigh Track is constructed and the Seniors Living development is completed.

The connection of the 2nd and 9th tee complexes is completed providing the opportunity for a greater variety of tee shot options for both holes.

We are continuing with the removal of the Lomandras and some dead trees species with the LMCC continuing with construction of the FAST on the western side of the driving range and the 5th hole. Negotiations will continue with council before the track is extended further south on the 5th hole towards the tee.

Golf At – Newcastle, Nelson Bay, Pacific Dunes

Thank you to the clubs noted above who have generously donated games of golf and carts for a group of four (4) players.

The opportunity to play at these fantastic local courses is available via a silent auction.

The money raised by the auction will go to the JOHN HUNTER CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL KIDS CLUB as part of the Women’s Golf Committee Charity Day Fundraiser that was held Thursday 29 July, 2021.

The auction will be postponed until the hospitality operation is open and members are able to make bids in the clubhouse.
