Golf Playing Membership

Additional Fee Information

  • Membership year starts on 1 October to 30 September.
  • $500 joining fee applies to all 7, 6 & 5 Day categories (excluding intermediate, colt, junior & overseas).
  • 5 and 6 day members who wish to play on a Saturday may do so by contacting the Pro Shop on the day of play. A fee of $75.00 will apply, and access is subject to availability.
  • All categories include affiliation fees.
  • All golf categories excluding junior, veterans, overseas & country include a $100 credit to spend at the club house bar.
  • Veterans category includes a $50 credit to spend at the club house bar.
  • Part year memberships may start any time during the membership year. Fees are calculated on a daily pro-rated basis to end of the membership year. 
  • Overseas memberships may be for any part of the membership year. Fees are calculated on a daily pro-rated basis for the term of the membership.
  • Combined golf and bowls memberships are also available.

Eligibility 

  • 7, 6 & 5 Day categories are available to anyone.
  • Senior category members must have been a golf member at Belmont Golf Club for 25 years or more and have attained the age of 65 years on the first day of membership.
  • Junior category members must be 17 or under on the first day of membership.
  • Colt category members must be 20 or under on the first day of membership.
  • Intermediate (21-24) category members must be 24 or under on the first day of membership.
  • Intermediate (25-34) category members must be 34 or under on the first day of membership.
  • Veterans category members must have been a member of any category (except social) for at least one full year and be at least 55 years on the first day of membership.
  • Overseas category members must be able to prove residency in an overseas country.
  • Country category members must have their residence 80km or more from Belmont Golf and Bowls Club and have a full current golf membership at a local club near their residence.

Additional Benefits

  • Members may hire golf equipment at member rates from our Pro Shop.
  • All golf categories may use the practice holes and practice greens at any time.
  • All golf members may invite guests to play competition at member guest rates.
  • All categories pay member prices in the clubhouse.
  • All golf categories may obtain discounts at reciprocal clubs.

Social membership is available for $5 per year, or part thereof. Social members receive a discount on food & beverage in the clubhouse but have no golf or bowling playing benefits.
